The Location
Overlooking the Tamar estuary in Devon, this wedding had the most gorgeous backdrop. When I went for my first site visit I could absolutely see why Freya and George wanted to hold their day there. Not only was it George's family home so full of memories, but the view overlooking the estuary was just stunning.
The Planning
I worked with Freya and George from the very start on their wedding. They gave me their brief, a festival style wedding that would be relaxed and fun. I researched and found all their suppliers and I am pleased to say I think we pulled it off. A wedding like this definitely needed a wedding planner on hand to juggle all the moving parts. With my team in tow, the day went seamlessly.
The Set Up
A gorgeous tipi to overlook the view, Freya and George had long rustic tables and benches furnished with luxurious sheep skin rugs and decorated with beautiful, delicate bud vases. There were garden games to enjoy and three caterers so guests really got to have that festival style choice in catering. My particular favourite extra touch was the espresso martini van as Freya knew she had to have one for her day, and why not!
